It will also be much easier to monitor at this point. Us or Israel could strike anytime a suspicion comes about.

No joke but precision is precision. We’re not hearing reports of strays

Kuwait Petroleum Corporation: The giant Kuwaiti crude oil tanker (Al-Salmi) was subjected to a direct, heinous Iranian attack while present in the (Mukhtaf) area at Dubai Port in the UAE

• The tanker was fully loaded at the time of the incident, and the attack resulted in material damage to the ship's hull, a fire breaking out on board, with a possibility of an oil spill in the surrounding waters

• The Corporation confirmed there were no human injuries as a result of the incident, noting that work is underway to precisely assess the damages

Still dumb to sign up for the military expecting to not fight. Regardless of where it is or for what purpose.

And last I checked, it is still voluntary.

This means the IRGC has won the internal battle. We have two choices. 1. Simply stop bombing and the IRGC will control the Persian Gulf. 2. Take Khsrg Island and the strait of Hormuz which ends the regime and leads to mideast peace for a generation. Choice 2 probably costs 50-100 US lives.

The third option should be done first before the 2nd option which is take out their entire power grid and let the power situation create infighting like there is no bodies business.

No we can try to patrol the straight (air and sea) while we continue to kill their leadership. The only play they have is to hold off and make it painful to the world economically or to the US in lives.

Only question is will patrolling the strait result in more death and destruction on our side.

How do we take Kharg island? We aren't sailing our ships that carry the marines through the strait, the island is well past. Osprey's are easy prey for manpads, airborne assault?

This allegation is entirely false and fabricated. Neither Secretary Hegseth nor any of his representatives approached BlackRock about any such investment. This is yet another baseless, dishonest smear designed to mislead the public.

We demand an immediate retraction.

taking it out of service is the goal, not occupying it. Use some a-10's to sink the service fleet, cut the power supply. In weeks they will run out of food water and it will be 115 degrees and 100 per cent humidity. easy peasy no boots on the ground. Telling them about that approach and giving folks a couple days to leave is recommended

I agree with you, I have just always felt Kharg was just a feint to hide our true intent

The longer this progresses, I’m warming up to this idea. Will be kinda hard to communicate when your hand helds and mobiles aren’t powered.

Would be the ripe time for the populace to take the reigns

Troops stationed on Kharg are easy prey for Iranian drones and missiles. I don’t think we take Kharg

If you take the strait you take Kharg to the extent of you control the strait you control what comes ina nd out of Kharg.

WSJ: Trump’s desire to end the war quickly is at odds with other moves he is planning to make. This weekend, the USS Tripoli and the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit entered the region. Trump has also ordered elements of the 82nd Airborne and is considering sending another 10,000 ground troops to the Middle East, The Wall Street Journal reported. Meanwhile, he has referred to the war as “an excursion” and “a lovely stay,” yet he is also weighing a complex and risky mission to seize the regime’s uranium, the Journal reported.
