I don't know why we are tolerating this shite. C'mon Trump make them pay for their stupidity. They have fired upon A UAE tanker, a South Korean vessel and fired "warning" shots at one of our destroyers. What the heck are waiting for? Iran has for all purposes violated the ceasefire and needs to be reckoned with.

Until all of the ship owners/insurers/operators feel like they can freely transit the strait with the same relative level of safety they had prior to February 28, we are going to stay in this uncertain state
Yes, you could argue that Iran could have closed the straight anytime they wanted, and attacked ships at will. But obviously the shipping world at large was comfortable with the risk level. Otherwise 100+ ships a day wouldn't have gone through without incident.
