I think it’s safe to say even the average American citizen is pretty heavily invested in this now. At some point you have to think if the IRGC has held out this long then they are in it until at least midterms. I don’t know whether that’s a month from now, or two or right now. I don’t think the midterms are going to end up being the magic wand they’re hoping for. If it is then that will be one sad moment for this country.

Here is a problem with that scenario:
If Iran says the SOH is open to any nation willing to pay the toll and Europe, China, etc... say ok we'll pay the toll. If we then mine the SOH, it becomes the US that is denying the world the oil, not Iran.

Thats not a problem. Its a solution. It denies them their toll and their cuckolds payments.

The only problem I see for Israel is that they don't have the tanker support for missions deep into Iran. If they are going to go it alone without us, who is going to provide that tanker support? As far as I know, they have only received one of the tankers they purchased from us under contract so far. The other 5 have not been delivered yet.
The only country I could see lending them a hand is the UAE as I believe they have a handful of tankers, but all it takes is a phone call from a pissed off Trump and he can put a stop to it.

Well they would have to sign a new contract, have to be built first and then all the congressional oversight crap, red tape, etc needs to be completed.
They just got the first of 6 tankers they purchased from us in May of this year after making the purchase last year.
