Israel should tell Trump to frick off.

He’s a joke. His cabinet is a joke. Iran knows he’s a joke. It’s pitiful.

Iraqi forces have busted an Iran-linked militia cell that was using Iraq as a launchpad for drone attacks against neighboring countries.

The three-man cell was dismantled in Babil, where Iraqi authorities seized advanced drones and related equipment before they could be deployed for operations outside the country.

The network had direct links to Iranian figures involved in drone operations.

This is how the Islamic Republic projects power while maintaining plausible deniability: use Iraqi territory, local militias and covert cells to launch attacks, then distance itself from the consequences.

Iraq is being used as a battlefield and forward operating base for the Islamic Republic's regional proxy warfare against countries like Saudi Arabia.

The IDF has officially canceled all military leaves.

?For context, the last time Israel took this step was February 26, just 48 hours prior to the strikes targeting the Supreme Leader’s compound.

?The pattern suggests high-level operations or major escalation could be underway.

Two important updates:

Houthi war against Saudi Arabia is heating up

It doesn’t seem like we are going to get a Hormuz deal with Iran anytime soon after their latest demands.

Iran wants reparations for war and for breaking the MOU. (Even though they were the ones firing at ships and that broke the MOU)

That new SA/Turkey/Pakistan alliance is getting tested real quick by Iran and it's proxies. First drone attacks on oil infrastructure and now this:

Pakistan isn’t going to do anything at all. Turkey hitting Iran is like hitting Russia’s little brother.

SIAP.

Over the last few weeks, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Dan Caine has privately made clear to other top Trump advisers that the US needs to find an off-ramp from the war with Iran — because the military options on the table to escalate the conflict could backfire and airpower alone is unlikely to achieve President Donald Trump’s stated objectives, according to three sources familiar with the matter.

“Caine is looking for an off ramp,” one of the sources said bluntly. Caine is not alone in his view that the war has reached a crossroads. He has discussed concerns about the military options for escalating the conflict and raised the prospect of finding an off-ramp from the war with other key Cabinet officials, including CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Vice President JD Vance, two of the sources said.

The top US general has recently side-barred with some of those key, like-minded Trump advisers in an effort to facilitate interagency coordination and ensure they are on the same page ahead of meetings with the president. The aim has been to make clear the limitations and pitfalls of the available military options, including those that do not involve putting US boots on the ground, the sources said.

“I think it is just his way of protecting the military,” one of the sources told CNN, referring to Caine’s discussions with other top national security officials within Trump’s cabinet about the Iran war.

That's basically total capitulation by Trump if true. Not only is the regime still intact, you surrender the SOH to them, and allow them to keep nukes.

It would be the worst ME policy ever. That shite would be Carter 2.0

Child famine worse in Finland, Egypt, and Jordan, than in Gaza
quote:

A newly released nutrition survey coordinated by UNICEF has found that acute malnutrition among children in the Gaza Strip remains at low levels, with Israeli officials arguing the findings undermine widespread claims that a famine is taking place in the enclave.

The survey, conducted using World Health Organization methodology and published on July 22, measured children’s weight, height, and mid-upper-arm circumference (WHZ) to assess acute malnutrition. According to the results, acute malnutrition rates across Gaza ranged from 0.2 percent in Khan Younis and Rafah to 0.8 percent in Gaza City and North Gaza, figures that researchers said are comparable to or lower than those recorded before the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war.

The survey covered an estimated 1.72 million people, or 83 percent of Gaza’s population. Around 360,000 people, 17 percent, were excluded because of access and security constraints.

These figures are also far below the 30 percent acute-malnutrition threshold associated with the IPC’s Phase 5 Famine classification, suggesting that no famine is occurring in Gaza.

The survey revealed that malnutrition rates in Gaza are less severe than many neighboring Middle Eastern countries and are comparable to several European countries. For instance, roughly 3.3 percent of Egyptian youth under 5 suffer from malnutrition, according to the data. Further, approximately 4.3 percent of youth in Iran and 2.3 percent of youth in Jordan suffer from malnutrition, per the data.

In Germany and Finland, 0.5 percent and 1.4 percent of children suffer from malnutrition, according to the UNICEF 2025 Joint Child Malnutrition survey.

The only problem I see for Israel is that they don't have the tanker support for missions deep into Iran. If they are going to go it alone without us, who is going to provide that tanker support? As far as I know, they have only received one of the tankers they purchased from us under contract so far. The other 5 have not been delivered yet.

The only country I could see lending them a hand is the UAE as I believe they have a handful of tankers, but all it takes is a phone call from a pissed off Trump and he can put a stop to it.

Israel does have 7 Boeing 707 tankers in addition to the 1 new one they received.

8 tankers is a drop in the bucket to what you would need. They also would never be all ready for flight dealing with old aircraft like the 707. For comparison to conduct the air operations we have conducted on Iran we brought about 150 of our air refueling aircraft. We are the only country on the planet with those capability at such a large scale. Not even China has that capability as they go for the Russian option of larger fighters that carry more fuel.
