More about the Iranian presidents second resignation attempt. He tried to resign earlier in the conflict but was denied. I see this as Pezeshkian trying to find an out for when the regime falls. I think this is his move at trying to project himself as a moderate/reformist but in reality he is not. He is just trying put himself in a better position with the West IMO.

If this is true, this is a significant development. Not because Pezeshkian means anything or has any power, because he doesn't. But because this is further evidence of deepening cracks within the Islamic Regime apparatus occupying Iran itself.
After all, if the Islamic Regime is "so strong" as some in the west claim, why would the President suddenly want to resign?
"An informed source told Iran International that Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, has requested to step down from his position by sending an official letter to the office of Mojtaba Khamenei, leader of the Islamic Republic.
According to information received by Iran International, in this letter, sent in the past few hours, Pezeshkian has issued a warning in an unprecedented and critical tone that the country's administrative structure has effectively veered off from official channels, and the main pillars of governance have fallen under the complete control of a specific faction of IRGC commanders.
It remains unclear whether Mojtaba Khamenei will agree to the president's resignation, but the content of the letter points to a deep and unprecedented rift at the highest levels of power in the Islamic Republic.
In the letter, Pezeshkian emphasized that the president and government have effectively been sidelined from major and vital decision-making processes in the country, and the resulting vacuum has paved the way for extremist factions within the IRGC to seize control of affairs. He also stated that under such conditions, he is unable to manage the government or fulfill his legal responsibilities, and for this reason, he has requested immediate resignation.
This development comes amid ongoing tensions in recent months between the government and the Islamic Republic's military-security institutions. Iran International had previously reported that the IRGC has gradually curtailed many of the presidency's authorities and, in practice, taken control of key sectors of the government.
According to informed sources, this situation has trapped Pezeshkian's government in a political and executive deadlock—one that neither allows for advancing diplomatic negotiations nor permits the completion and implementation of desired changes in the cabinet structure."

Either way, it's pretty much the same thing.

So smart that they believed this conflict would be over in a couple of weeks when everyone else in the world knew better. So smart they didn't have a plan for when Iran inevitably shut down the Strait of Hormuz. So smart that they literally have no idea what to do next. So very smart. The smartest.
Darn, bro, you got a really bad case. But thank you for illustrating my point perfectly!

Worked pretty well, 12,000 targets were hit
Israel hit some 40,000 targets in Gaza. Gaza is the size of Orleans parish. Iran is 2.5 times the size of Texas.
Trump should just walk away from the Persian gulf. The gulf states can and will figure out an alternative to move their gas and oil. Or they won’t and the world will fill the gap
Declare victory, we killed the top terrorist brass, Hamas is dead, Hezbollah is obliterated, and we did it all in 3 months with 13 dead as opposed to a decade of war.
Bush 1 was right to just slap Saddam across the face on the sidewalk. Bush 2 was a retard for going into Saddam’s house and killing him. Thats the decision Trump now faces.

Yeah, you made the case for how idiotic Trump and his advisors are. Glad I could further illustrate.

Not the same at all. Iran is nothing like Iraq.

Yeah, I probably have a few too many brain cells to be a Trump advisor. Good point.

And they're still in an active war against them despite a widely reported and celebrated ceasefire and "peace deal".

We — via the struggling "Board of Peace "— just petitioned the UN Securtiy Council for it to pressure Hamas to disarm. Hezbollah is still launching rockets at Israel while we try to get Israel to stop retaliating whilst the "negotiations" with Iran trudge on.

Nope. I hope that you are at least getting paid a penny a post or something like that for spewing this nonsense.

I would not believe ANY of this. I think all this is just BS and the Iranians simply lie to delay and confuse.
