First two nights have been great. Great stories, great emotion.
But need the rest of the convention to start honing in on the actual platform, specific policy direction for the Trump/Vance administration. Vance and Trump need to bring that part home. Time for the meat and potatoes.

I’m assuming it was a good night?
The crime stat is frustrating. It is so hard to fact check this because we change how we classify crime.

People don't need statistics to know crime is up under this administration.

Every time pundits and politicians say Fentanol instead of Fentanill irks me so hard

CNN talking about Biden's bad numbers......10 mins after the RNC.
The numbers must be horrid. They have to get him out.

It's actually fen-tuh--nuhl. Both are wrong and annoy me.

instead of using OUR resources to fund their socialist benefit programs
This is the bottom line. Paying for OUR mutual defense is entirely different than paying for retirement benefits somewhere else when I will likely not see more than a fraction of what I've paid in for what should be MY social security. Hell, if I'd been able to save and invest what I've paid in, I'd probably have a significantly better retirement.
I'm okay with paying to keep some buffers between me and dying by some bombs. I'm not okay with paying the pension of some govt employee in Poland or Ukraine.

Today we will hear the most consequential and important speech by an American politician in the last half-century.

Pronunciation of Fentanyl, at least according to Tony Guerra a Pharmacist and Professor. I was curious as previous posts were in conflict.

At the 1:30 mark of this video with Kevin Mccarthy he says that, "someone was sentenced today for trying kill his son".
Has anyone heard anything about it?

Interesting how Democrats are all claiming that Vance is too young. If you can cite one specific guy for the idealogy of the modern Democratic Party, it's a 36 year old communist who they nominated as president (not just VP) in 1896. Granted that modern Democrats usually pretend that he was some big right winger because of his anti-evolution views.

They are just pissed that the GOP is appealing more to a younger demographic.
