No speech he could’ve given would’ve pleased everyone. If this board remembers to 4 years ago, Trump gave a tame RNC speech in 2020 at the White House where he stayed on script and everyone called it too long and boring.

Most reports on this speech will discuss his retelling of the assassination attempt, with a blurb about the rest. So it’s a win.

I know Ill get shite on on here for this but the only miss to me is bringing up the 2020 election. I dont mind the riffing on what is him doing the stump speech. He has the eyes of the nation on him so might as well tell is agenda to the country. The problem is I predict whats going to be plastered on CNN and MSNBC is him talking about the election.
It is what it is and they would probably do something similar anyways but dont set it up so easy for them.
