You are like a pharisee. I'm not talking about legality. Legality is like lowest bar of ethics/morality. I support the legal system, it's useful, we need it, but, it's only the arbiter of right and wrong for pharisees and idiots.

So you think that the law-enforcement officer broke moral law, even if he did not break legal law, correct?

What do you think of the morality of the protesters/instigators? Do they have culpability morally for what happened?

Because it won't work. It's dangerous to bystanders.

It's why we are taught one to the head two to the chest.

You may be right. I just thought I saw another angle where he was holding a cell phone. I may have assumed it was a cell phone though.

honestly it could be either. I don't think it really matters either way. Regardless of what it was, the fact that he had it on and recording the incident provides clarity beyond a reasonable doubt as to what led up to that point. Just being able to provide irrefutable video proof that she was looking directly at him and still accelerated is damning. being able to show her demeanor as one of being antagonistic, not fearful or frightened also ends any debate that she acted out of fear.

Why do you think she was parked sideways in the road for 3+ minutes?

J6ers didn't have weapons?

That's weird. I thought you folks insisted that the appropriate response is to shoot her in the face three times.

Well he had already accomplished that.

Are you saying the responsibility for gun violence falls on the gun owner and not the gun?

There is no way anyone can possibly be THAT stupid. Ideologically blind? yes.

Whether or not the woman in Minnesota was trying to kill the officer, and whether or not the officer had reason to believe she was trying to kill him is very important. If she was being reckless, that's not a justification to kill her.

This is very incorrect. I can aim a gun at someone with no intention of actually pulling the trigger but anyone who sees me doing it would have no idea if I will or won't actually shoot and would be 100% justified in shooting me. Its impossible to know what another person will or won't do.

Most reasonable people would agree that you can only kill someone in self defense. You can only kill in self defense when there is no other reasonable option to save your self.

To make yourself clear on this - you're arguing that it is morally wrong to defend yourself with lethal force if the danger to you is not loss of life?

Example - a woman that's being attacked by someone clearly intending to rape her. She's just got to take it rather than use the handgun in her purse?

True, I need morons like you and Maxine Watters to remind me that it was an "armed insurrection".

I've never seen so many people with machine guns in my life.

I wrote at the least he made a mistake. Would need more information to draw any more of a conclusion. To me most probable thing that happened is he freaked out in a scary situation and made a regrettable mistake.

I would like there to be some consequences for his mistake such that in the future it's known if you make this mistake there will be consequences.

I'm a big supporter of protesting in general, it's good for society. But it's got to be peaceful. I've seen lots of video of very dumb protesting and I think it's wrong for the protestors to provoke law enforcement. I wish they would get trained up in protesting like people in the MLK era. But they aren't and it sucks.

She allowed the other cars to pass but not the officers. This was shown in other cell phone video taken prior to the officers getting out.
Silly game with tragic but justified results.
How did the first officer park next to her if she wasn't letting them in?
The second car didn't attempt to pass. He stopped short of her and got out and charged her (which caused her to panic and try to drive off).
