Sorry to hear the bad news. I love my dog very much and when he’s not around anymore it will be tough. Hope you can find a good replacement.

Hang in there buddy . You have 15 years of memories . My Zoey died when she was 13 , and that was two years ago . I still miss her like crazy and have yet to get another dog. It’s tough, but I know their spirit is with us.

I would have knocked on your door. Annabelle was also part therapy dog. Ok not really, but she had a way of spreading dog joy whenever it was needed. She’s taking care of your sweet pup right now. I promise.

So sorry for your loss. I don’t post very often anymore. But I read everyday. My dog is in my lap as I type. He’s old. I got him after the stroke as a puppy. He helped me learn how to walk and talk again. We have a special bond.

I know that one of will die in the next few years. The survivor will be devastated.

Remember your fur baby but don’t give up on dogs. God gave them to us as a wonderful gift. They pack so much love and loyalty into such a short life.

Grieve as appropriate. Then choose a loving puppy.

Much love to you.

Losing a dog sucks but I will never feel the need to go on an online message board and request sympathy over my pet dying.

Not to worry. You won’t get any.

Such an a-hole.

My condolences for your loss. The sadness will subside in time. When my faithful companion was laid to rest, it was one of the saddest moment of my life. I thought I would never stop crying.

Her ashes are buried in my backyard and memorialized under a stepping stone.

Know that your dog will never stop protecting you, even from above.

I used to enjoy the food boards cooking challenges. What happened to them and Darla? Anyone know?

IIRC Sixth and Barrone had entries there. I never realized they/he was such a dickhead.

Sorry for your loss, Wednesday.

Dogs earned the moniker of man’s best friend for a reason. They are indeed, and a woman’s best friend too.

I laid my beloved Beau down to rest back in 2010. He was with me through pivotal years, great times, horrible times. He saw it all and gave me unyielding love, loyalty, and companionship. His picture still sits on my desk.

So sorry....please grieve as peaceful as possible. She would want you to not suffer too much.

Don't think of last days if you can, think of all the YEARS you had...it helped me to do that...

I'll be joining your grief soon. My black lab is 19. That's past average life expectancy. She's feeble but still seems content and without pain.
