Like I said, it's a stupid shibboleth that you guys think gives you some superiority in this arena, when in fact it makes you look uneducated.

Caring about simple firearm facts, such as a clip vs. a magazine, makes us look uneducated.

Let's get to Turkey
I've spent a lot of time in Turkey. If you think Turkey culture is analogous to US culture... I'm going spit my dinner all over my screen.

I notice you REALLLLLLLY don't want to answer the obvious follow up.

Not that I'm stunned.

Well. If we achieve those numbers, then we call it done, right?

No more BamaAtl wanting gun control, right?

Why don't you defer to the ATF?

We can defer to them - let's have them make a list of what would fall under a modern day assault weapons ban.

But lacking that, let's defer to the retailers who instituted their own bans.

By the way.

Your favorite seemed to be Germany.

The strictest gun laws in Europe.

We don't have to match their laws so long as we match their results. Nobody said otherwise, save for you in your head.

He fell of Turkey quick and finished by fetishizing German numbers............which is interesting since he claims to not want to ban guns.

How are they sure they don't mistakenly sell a pistol and call it a rifle?

Since they don't sell them, they clearly can't tell the difference

Which one is the pistol and which one is the rifle?

They only need to know the market.

Part of knowing the market is knowing how to classify said items. Especially when they've chosen to ban certain items based on a classification they devised.

This isn't a hard subject, you're just making it hard by purposefully pretending that they didn't do the thing they did.

You guys can't even spell Armalite correctly, and think that two different guns are the exact same, yet somehow you're "better-educated"?

Oh please little moron, your support structure includes retards that honestly believe 30rd AR-15 magazines are single-use items and can't accurately describe the physical characteristics of the items they write legislation to impact. Yours is so far from educated it's laughable but then again you do go out of your way to prove your stupidity in every post...

Ah...but have you spent four months on a remote mountain top near Malatya in blizzard conditions?

It was all fun and games until our diesel fuel started to gel.

You should.

I'm simply asking the obvious. What's your floor where you shut the frick up?

Based on this thread, it would appear that even if we passed Germany's laws, but somehow, a few kids shot up a few schools, you'd STILL be looking for more laws.

Go read the NCVS.

NCVS covers the US. You'd need to compare us to other countries to know our expected.

(you -should- know that, but once again...oops. You done goofed, Mr Stats Man)
