I looked back - there were no valid questions.
Yes or No?
You said we need to achieve their numbers and you'd be happy and therefore, shut the frick up on it. I'm simply testing to see if that's true.

I'm really glad I directed BamaAtl to this thread. It's more than paid off.

Still waiting on this.
That and the statistics on what weapon constitutes the most "gun violence", the demographics of said "gun violence", and why said violence drops off like a rock outside of said demographic areas.

Did he need your direction?
Firearms are like his number 2 bat signal behind health care threads.

You refuse to accept the testimony and the opinion of people who shoot, maintain, develop, tested, and relyed on firearms in literal life and death situations because they may be biased?
Correct, because shooting and maintaining a gun has no bearing on one's ability to determine the effectiveness of gun control solutions in a wider population.

So we should all just listen to people who have never shot, maintained, developed, tested, or depended on firearms?
No, we should all realize that sleeping next to a gun doesn't provide some greater insight on whether a PTP law for handgun purchases will save lives, or other gun control measures.
Driving a car doesn't give you specific insight on whether A pillars should be 5mm larger to protect a driver without significantly impacting vision, engineering skills do. They're two different skillets.
Yet for some reason you think the only people who can determine whether a public health policy is effective in this arena are those who have the most bias around keeping the status quo. It's absurd.

of the Dickey amendment.

Maybe Walmart could take care of that.

Don't you think facts concerning firearms are pretty important
I think if you can visualize a 30-round magazine it's unimportant whether you call it a magazine or a clip when discussing whether banning it may save lives. Especially when you have data suggesting it would.
Like I said, it's a stupid shibboleth that you guys think gives you some superiority in this arena, when in fact it makes you look uneducated.

Indeed
Then again I can achieve the same thing by throwing a block of C4 in a catfish farming pond

Unless your position on guns is "ban them all", then actual knowledge of guns would be helpful to deciding which ones to control and how.
Are you too unintelligent to grasp that reality?

They aren't gun violence.

I'd like to point out you've yet to address this,
I'd like to point out I posted a half dozen links that contain my answer, as well as pointing out to you specifically why you were dumb to continue this question.
You're not helping yourself with that.

quote:No. Just the high-capacity assault speed loaders (as defined by Walmart and Dick's sproting goods employee of the month). She's not a gun grabber. Duh!
Well obviously we'd need to ban "Speed Loaders" because they make revolvers deadlier.

No you haven't.
I'm patient though, to coin a certain poster's phrase that you also like to ignore.
