While I wouldn't be surprised if someone from YLS or HLS got the nomination, I have no idea why Trump, of all people, would make that a stipulation.

I would almost prefer someone who went to less "clubish" less beltline-perpetuating schools, to be one of the 9 most powerful putatively impartial and apolitical jurists in the nation. But ultimately where someone spent 3 years learning how to learn how to be a lawyer should make no difference at all in the pick.

You rarely hear about Princeton when people talk Top flight schools, it’s always Yale and Harvard and Appalachian State. But doesn’t Princeton usually rank #1 in most reports?
