A certain space Senator.

So why don't we just... not do that, then?
Not doing it will lead to erosion of the US as the hegemon of global trade and significantly impact our role as the medium of exchange for oil (which contributes significantly to the buying capacity of the USD - destabilization would cause significant inflation).
Also, Iran will actually pursue nuclear weapons and antagonization of Israel moreso. Further destabilizing the region. As much as I would love for us not to be involved in this, that's a pipedream.

Probably the Intelligence Committees in their briefing sessions. Given Congress created these agencies and gave themselves oversight authority, the action of releasing intelligence to Congress is required.

Interesting how these numbers tick up after the wave of propaganda the first few weeks.

Trump really screwed this one up and his only offramp is going to be a worse deal than the Obama one that he will have to sell as the best deal in history. Israel and all its allies in his admin played him.

I think the outcome of an invasion of Iran will be better, largely because the population (primarily Persian) is more capable of hosting a thriving society.
The costliness of the war will be more as Iran provides more logistical challenges and a lot more military capability than Iraq, Afghanistan, or Vietnam

People with knowledge of the assessments said they show — to varying degrees, depending on the level of damage incurred at the different sites — that the Iranians can use mobile launchers that are inside the sites to move missiles to other locations.
Always the last paragraph.

I’m gonna go with anyone leaking anything like this to media has corrupt and unscrupulous intentions to begin with. Even just to contemplate it, but then to follow through with such reckless behavior…..certainly not something I, personally, would/will consider credible. This has got nefarious ulterior motives written all over it. And possibly even inside of it, maybe even made of it.
Cliffs: I don’t believe it.

This is a non-sequitor
The leaker having bad intentions doesn't mean they are incorrect. They could be lying or they could be telling the truth.
At the same time, the WH also lies to us constantly about things for strategic reasons - All White Houses, not Trump's in particular. That doesn't mean we can't take the information we receive and attempt to process it for truth.
I think it's fair to say "fog of war" and give a million caveats with any information being relayed about this, or any, war.
