If elections were just dependent on deportations, you'd be correct.
However, Republicans have the whole process identified. If Democrats try and push illegals into the mix in 2026, it will be caught and identifed.

5,000 with criminal records. 4,800 with no convictions. That’s 49% not 60%.
HOWEVER, of those 4,800, 2,700 have charges pending. That leaves 2,100 who are truly clean, so that’s 21.4%.

So, in 2025, Trump deported 3,600 more violent criminals, 20,000 more other criminals, and 24,000 more with pending criminal charges than Biden did in the previous years.

But your way leads to worse results. That’s irrational. I’d prefer that Trump do as much as he can while maintaining the electability of MAGA. When the democrats eventually gain power they will be afraid to unleash the illegal immigration because it would cause their demise. In that way we manage immigration in a way that will assimilate them.
