“As Mr. Rittenhouse is running, he trips and falls to the ground. He fires four shots as three people rush toward him.”

This is intentionally omissive.

This article is somewhat dishonest. I just watched a very, very long video of an independent reporter who had long conversations with the group at the one business (Kyle's group) and then with another group at the gas station. The rioters were throwing bottles of ammonia at the men protecting the business. At the time the police came by, they told Kyle's group to stay on the property of the business and to not go into the street and told the rioters to stay in the street. Later on, the police came back around and told Kyle's group thank you for protecting that business, offers them water and Kyle walks out into the street (at this time the rioters had already moved to the gas station down the street). The police then say leave the area. I could not tell if they were talking to Kyle or not because there were still a few blm people hanging around on the other side of the street looking suspicious. At that point, the reporter goes down the street to the gas station. It is clear the rioters were wanting to set that gas station on fire but were stopped by the men protecting it and the police. So, if the police were telling Kyle to leave the area and he did so, it is highly possible that he ran into some of the rioters and thats when the shite hit the fan because none of the others in his group left that business.

The NYT and their handlers want this to GO AWAY QUICKLY.

They are realizing that the Murder1 charge is hitting a nerve on our side. They realize they might a crossed a line here and want this to go away as quick as possible.

They are trying to put the pin back into the grenade here.

Because "only" 2 white guys got killed, the NYT thinks they will be able to defuse the situation.

An actually well written, balanced article with just the facts outlined.
No it isn't. They excluded all kinds of shite that we already know that makes Rittenhouse look way better.

No one can say either way at this point. Not sure why people are being a douche about this.
If nobody had ever mentioned a MC and then you watched this video, there's no chance you would have thought of it yourself. It wasn't a MC.

It’s a shame they are going to put the boy through this. Will a lawyer take this case pro bono for the publicity and save him/his parents from being bankrupted? Or could he win with a public defender, because it seems like he could easily. But of course you don’t take that chance with murder.

I hear you wolf. The article was better than most but they left out the obvious assault on the 17 year old by fully grown men at the end.

They were surprisingly good about him being chased by the first guy.

But they really dropped the ball on the second where the other guy got killed.

You think. It says he trips and then shoots 4 times hitting one person. In chest and another in the arm.

It fails to mention he was attacked and hit over the head with a a skateboard and the other person was rushing him with a drawn pistol.

Omitting those two very relevant facts is not my idea of balanced.

That’s good news. No reason the boy should be put through this. A large part of this country is evil.

Anyone with eyes can see it's not. Just stop propagating it. Don't be like them.

Definitely a plastic grocery bag. Not sure what's in it, but there is no reason at all to believe it's a MC. Someone described it correctly earlier in the thread - it's got maybe a little weight to it, but it didn't really go anywhere when he through it. Why is this the hill to die on?
