The left’s plan is to let these criminals get guns and allow violence until we vote for daddy government to take all the guns.

That's exactly what I think is going on.
My theory on why these DA's are letting hardened criminals on the street;
They want to create a vigilante state. As people start taking the law into their own hands, that will give them a reason to come down hard on the 2nd amendment.
