“We hate people having time off” -NY

quote:

The bill goes on to say that “While there is nothing objectionable about a fast food restaurant closing on a particular day of the week, service areas dedicated to travelers is an inappropriate location for such a restaurant ... Allowing for retail space to go unused one seventh of the week or more is a disservice and unnecessary inconvenience to travelers who rely on these service areas.”

Yep, I’d pull out all restaurants. Would only hurt the owners and workers.

Allowing certain populations to have a higher unemployment rate is a disservice to society. Put them to work in the fields.

Lawyers and government buildings go unused 2 days a week, maybe government offices should be operating 24/7

They expect every restaurant to be open every day? Or are they only targeting Christian restaurants that are closed on Sundays?

where in the constitution does it give them the power to dictate to a private business, the hours or days a business will operate?

No standing, and Chick-fil-a should sue, they will win easily. A company has every right to open and close as they choose.

They just mad that their company still has integrity and refuses to make their workers, stay open on Sundays.
