Didn’t the OP say Faith-Based?…as I know in the past many pastors pro immigration have asked congregations to help house them. This would probably be some govt program attempting to match families with said immigrants. May not be a bad idea…if that’s the case.

Not just the illegals but all of our homeless should be housed by distribution to those that receive public assistance for subsidized housing, section 8 and projects.
These people should be grateful for the assistance they receive and take in a refugee/homeless person to give them shelter.
