Yep. Been saying this for months.
Then whats the solution???
We are paying the fcking civil servants in Ukraine and the pensions of their retired people while talking about raping our own.
How much fking sense does that make?
There are dozens of conflicts all over the world as we speak, do we fund them and their govts and retirees?
Ask yourself, what is so special about ukraine, I think you know the answer.

Hmmm, Russia keeps the land?
So when Putin comes up with a pretext for taking the Baltics, the world should give him a green light?
Why not, we put in a puppet in Ukraine, working on Romania, and obama is at a conference this week regarding central and eastern Europe shopping for a few more.
Just track money bags USAID Samantha Powers and you will see who we are "invading" next.

No that’s not my argument at all. You’re saying Russia is fine with taking what they currently hold, therefore they won’t want to attack again later on down the road, and I don’t think Russia is ok with that at all. They want all of Ukraine and it isn’t going to stop until they have it. I’m fine with a ceasefire and it appears that the US and Ukraine/Europe are okay with one as well, but Russia is obviously not because their goals haven’t been met.
Actually that is your argument. You've said it twice now. You don't trust Putin to keep the ceasefire agreement if Zelensky admits defeat and gives up what's already lost. It's easy enough to test. They could get this done tomorrow and the fighting would stop. Then Europe and Ukraine could start building up their militaries.

I mean that’s not going to keep the US out of it like you think.
Well, you better hope it does, because the US is on the brink of a debt/currency crisis and Russia is a nuclear superpower. Your idea that we can "win" this war, which is not even our war, is born out of ignorance. I'm hoping we don't continue letting the ignorant make our decisions, because we're running out of chances to stop the insanity.

I had the same thought go through my head when I first heard about the talks. I don't trust Zelensky at all. He has proven from past actions that he is a weasel.

Me as well, like the beginning of the movie Braveheart

He's probably overly concerned about being assassinated
I, for one, would be thrilled if someone off’ed him and Zelensky today.

Zelenskyy should not mouth off about what he is not willing to do.
Until Zelenskyy is willing to make concessions to end a war he is losing, Putin should not meet with him. It’s a waste of time

Yep, there were no Ukrainians or UKR sympathizers in the strategic rocket forces of the USSR.
