You think US subs would fire on columns of PLA moving into Taiwan?

Last resort I'd say, but it would be justified. The Chinese and their Globalist pals were literally trying to take over the world. If they had accomplished overthrowing the United States (thank God Hillary wasn't elected) there would have been nothing standing in their way.

And now that they have lost, as we have seen, they will unleash biological warfare on the entire world and shut down the global economy to get their way. Still doesn't work? Well I guess their next move is sparking WW3. frick that. End their sorry asses.

??? Well as a former submariner they do pack Tomahawks for land targets, but last I checked Taiwan is an island so any significant troop movements would be by ship...aka "Targets".

Europe would stay out of it. The only reason for Russia to enter the fray would be to invade Europe. As for the Middle East, they could give two shits about a US / Chinese war, and that includes Israel.

I would imagine the first day of China's war every conceivable mechanical part of their war machine would malfunction in the first few hrs.

Putin would sit back, laugh and do shots while China was taken off his hands without ever firing a shot!

The Chinese Army didn't fair well when they went up against the Vietnamese some years back in a border dispute.

AFAIC, that alone is justification for a few cruise missles to go astray in the vicinity of the 3 Gorges Dam.

"Targets" operating in their own territorial waters?

Sinking Chinese ships off the coast of China would be considered a pretty substantial act of war. I highly doubt the navy would do that.

I’d have to look at the distances involved but an amphibious invasion is always a problem and especially if the target is either too close or too far away.

The Germans and George Patton thought that a US invasion in France would take place in Calais, not Normandy. Problem was that the distance was so short between the UK and Calais that the logistics were a clusterfrick.

In China’s case, I don’t know how far Taiwan is off the mainland but I bet Taiwan could start lobbing Exocet antiship missiles and wreck their day.

If a submarine did it, how would they know it was a US boat?

I can't see the US Navy getting directly involved with Sinking any kind of Chinese ships, etc.

The first step would have to be to get shadow involved with India and go from there. Only if we get directly attacked (which I assume the Chinese are too smart to do) will the US get their hands really dirty.

They should just keep selling advanced weapons systems to the likes of Taiwan, Japan, India, etc to scare the CCP away.

Taiwan should just send a vidoe like N Korea used to of a Tomahawk impacting the 3 Gorges Dam.

Aggressive Chinese amphibious shipping in Taiwan waters would be provocative to say the least and in the bottom of the sea.
