I saw one as well. In 1996. It's what got me started down the UFO rabbit hole. The one I saw didn't have any lights on, but it was exactly that shape, very large, and moved silently.

I understand what the claims are. But unfortunately, the claims people have made for years and years don't match with what we are currently hearing. What we are currently hearing coming from the government is that we are clueless about the technology and that nobody has said technology.

Of course it's our own stuff.

Alien civilizations do not need to send craft and other things over to monitor us. These ideas are based on our own understandings and limitations of technology. As we advance, so do the UFO claims.

Aliens didn't travel that distance just to sit in some farmers field for 15 minutes and then fly off. But a secret program would surely want to test in remote areas and should somewhat be expected. And for the normal person, it's not really possible to tell the difference, especially if it's technology you aren't familiar with.

I could see where maybe they would come here to meet with governments and things of that nature, but we would likely never know about those things. They wouldn't fly around, they'd go straight in and out.

I'd say I'm a believer in life out there - big time believer actually. But I'm skeptical of almost all UFO claims, especially coming from the government.
