Mind boggling that trucks dont have collision detection that can at a least apply abs breaking system.

You can’t reason with the left. They hate America. To them, having illiterate, non-English speaking truckers on the highways is equity. If highway fatalities increase, well, that’s a small price to pay for bringing more diversity to the trucking profession. Plus, they’d prefer us to use trains as our main mode of travel.

He had a dash cam in his truck, that was the video that you saw in the OP, when he hit the car.
It only saved that 10 seconds right before, during, and after the crash. It doesn't show where he passed the warning signs telling him to slow down. That would have been automatically deleted.
If he had a driver cam, that's another question, because the trucking company doesn't want that shown.
He was probably texting on his phone or stirring the crap he was cooking in his trucker's lunchbox stove.
