Former criminal court judge Arthur Hunter a strong possibility to be named interim DA.

I think it's from not paying taxes, but this is the first I'm hearing of a deal and possible resignation

He was New Orleans 2nd Black DA, neither made it 1/2 way through their term before resigning. Hunter will be massive improvement.

A few years ago had jury duty and I caught a murder trial, he was the judge. I thought he did a good job. Since then I've seen him marching with St. Aug during Mardi Gras parades.

Will that make NOLA less of a shithole, more of a shithole, or stay the same?

It’s idiots at the top of the Food Chain running the state is why why 45% of revenue is Federal in Louisiana. Louisiana voters who vote for these people are all Biden voters and can’t get out of their own way. Feel sorry for you guys tied to the state by Jobs or family. To many great options out there and I Like BBQ as well as Cajun food so I’m good.

Did you know there was a 17% voter turnout for that election... How pathetic is that?
