Louisiana's new concealed-carry laws open a Pandora’s box of problems
quote:
Miguez’s bill doesn’t define “law abiding.” That’s just a talking point. Effectively, his bill lets anyone who is not a convicted felon or a judicially declared incompetent carry a concealed handgun.
As applied to 18-to-21-year-olds, that includes your average oversexed, emotionally insecure high school senior — and his or her consequentially obtuse, potentially ill-tempered friends, cousins and older siblings.

Sounds like they aren't mature enough to vote, or drink or join the military.

Yet they want 14 year olds to be able to change their gender

But 7 year old should be able to “transition”

Nobody that hasn’t already been concealed carrying in Louisiana illegally, is going to commit crimes with a firearm that otherwise wouldn’t just because it’s legal.
Ridiculous argument.

Am I wrong when I say most concealed carriers carry handguns?
Do you not have to be 21 to possess a handgun there Clancy?

Any law prohibiting me carrying a firearm in any way I see fit is a gross assault on the rights established to me by the Second Amendment.
Any law at all that restricts the citizenry to have access to any weapon they desire is unconstitutional by definition set forth by the Second Amendment. Every single law in existence that has been passed regarding firearm restrictions placed upon the citizenry ought to be struck down in a 9-0 decision by the Supreme Court.
But, we’re not a just nation.

Clancy Dubos is the perfect example of a wealthy man who could make a difference in the city & push good causes but instead chooses to be an Uptown Lexus Liberal with BLM & "In This House" signs in his yard while owning a Socialist/Communist weekly publication (The Gambit) that is all about rabble rousing & promoting continuous corrupt elected officials & stopping anything that is common sense. Screw him. When you see his name on anything, just ignore it.

If only there were other states where this law has been passed, for us to draw information from.
If so, I'm sure they're all burned-out war zones by now.

I liked 1990’s Clancy, back then he was on WVUE as a political analyst and more involved with Gambit after leaving WDSU and getting his law degree. He skewed a little more conservative back then.
Now he devolved into a liberal cuck since he went to WWL.

These days the Gambit is owned by John Georges as part of the advocate / times picayune group
Rest of your post is spot on

Other states seem to figure out this “issue” I’m sure we will too

I didn’t know he sold it. Interesting. John Georges now basically owns all print media in SE LA.

These local liberal media fricks didn't once express concern whatsoever over the 8 years of the slimy cock sucker's time in office. All while the state degraded into an even more pile of shite, they said nothing.
Now we have new leadership implementing change that reflects what the voters want, and they have been in full meltdown.
frick the media, all of it!

I can’t stand Op-eds.
The only thing different from that guy and posters on this board is the header at the top of the page.
