Let's just go with no federal taxes for life if you're married and have 3 or more kids

I also prefer less income tax than more.

Well, if you support this, it's less income tax for the right groups of people.

So everyone making under 150k only makes fake money?

What happens to the money they don't pay in and who makes up the difference?

All of this doesn't mean shite if spending doesn't change.

I'm probably younger than a lot of you.

Being retired doesn't preclude someone from earning an income and being taxed on it.

If you want to talk about abolishing income tax entirely, I'm on board. If you're begging for bullshite progressive tax policies like this, I'm going to call you out for it.

When you see how much fraud was revealed by DOGE it certainly lends credence to a flat tax of 10% and no more.

That sounds great, but actually I would prefer if there were maybe a 10% flat income tax. That way everyone would have skin in the game especially the over 50% that pay no income taxes currently.

And some of those 50% not only don't pay, but get a check, with zero withholding. It's the Earned Income Tax Credit:

So...you're gonna be a Democrat now? Most folks think the no-tax on under $150K is a great idea. Get your spouse to quit if you can't deal with it!

Can't do that without touching SS/Medicare

There’s plenty of fat in there just like every other agency in terms of fraud, abuse, and corruption.

They’ve already made it clear that no one‘s benefits will be decreased, and in fact, maybe freed from federal taxes thereby increasing the amount actual qualified recipients receive.

Nice try slipping that in though.

If you want to eliminate all income taxes, you . . . .

1) Start with the biggest group first
2) Start with people that wont support the media attempts (and yours) to say its a stupid plan
3) Plus you put a bigger burden on wealthier folks, who will then jump on board with getting cutting all income tax

Its a perfect negotiating tool

Most folks who think this is a good idea make less than $150K and have no principles.

The rest...well...

The roads in this country are almost universally trash. Same goes for schools and most other things our taxes are paying for.

We're getting ripped off.

Do you not realize that only the income over 150k would be taxable? Eg if you make 160k, 10k of that would be taxable. Not the full 160k
