They want to centralize all power to a federal government. States no longer have states rights, all fall within the governments purview. They want elimination of the 2nd amendment so the people can not resist. Churches are to be torn down, as there can be no higher power than fed gov.
They want to produce goods by means of a socialist collective. Farms and manufacturing will be relegated to certain areas around the country. People in those areas will be assigned jobs. Food production will be made on collective farms.
Major cities and capitals will be the showcase for this "new" government. But venturing outside these major cities you will see a wasteland of starvation, poverty, and death.
The politicians who control government will live extravagantly and each will have their own dachas in D.C. Meanwhile the rest of Americans live in squalor. The armed forces will largely be used to subdue the population from rising up and disrupting the nobel work by the Committee members.

If you want some real proof, just look at Communist Russia. That's what the left wants. I doubt you find many regressives deny that. Sure they'll say that "We don't want to be like the USSR" and in the same breath they'll speak of how the USSR just didn't do it right.

When government controls your life, you no longer have to. You and I don't think that way. We are self reliant and accept personal responsibility for our lives and our actions. The leftist wants to perpetually be a child, and have government control everything so they don't have to make choices. It's part of the reason why kids usually grow out of that stage in life, unless you are a "progressive".

I can't completely answer the question but confiscating property just like South Africa is one of their goals. They will probably raid 401k's and retirement accounts also.
If we don't stop them that is.

American Socialist don’t think it through to the point of “endgame”.

Socialism is born out of envy, jealousy and self righteousness. It’s not based on logic or rationale. Socialism as a political ideology is effective in America because of the guilt generated by unequal outcomes. Equal opportunity be damned and couple this with the absolute asinine belief that resources are infinite and presto!
