It’s not just because of their politics.

It’s because their stock is in the crapper and has been for a while.

Which has probably not been helped by their politics.

Stale strategy is a factor, too.

In any case, I’m fine to see it happen.

Its run by woke white women. The same ones in love with Lindsay Clancy.

The article says S&P 100 not 500.

A part of it I’m sure.

But also Nike just isn’t the brand with today’s younger generation that it was with Gen X and Millineals. Other than some hype when new Jordans come out I think they’re being seen as “old folks shoes”. Combine that with brands like Brooks and Hoka being better suited for specific things like running and Nike just isn’t the big dog anymore. That being said I’m sure their business deals with college athletic departments and pro sports teams are still generating hellacious income.

their clothing line and shoes are far too expensive for the quality they are putting out. As far as shoes go, there are so many other athletic style and running shoe brands out there I dont even think about nike. The lone exception for me being Jordan's because I grew up poor in the 90s and like buying shoes I wanted as a kid.

And that is how you get bad business decisions.

You can't say it was just bad business when the bad business is done on the name of woke shite.
