Flipping through the channels the other night and saw a commercial promoting some of Nickelodeon’s daytime shows, promoting political positions. It may as well have been written by AOC (her IQ is on an 8-year-old’s level). The indoctrination is just not underway in our schools; it’s targeting our kids through their entertainment as well.

Why are they telling 8 year olds about politics?

And why not? It’s been going on in adult entertainment - music, movies, TV, books, and periodicals in print since the 1960s.

My son didn’t want to eat the Cowboy Ribeye I had just grilled (this is last year).

I asked why, and he started spouting off about how cows are bad for the environment and he didn’t want to...,.

I asked him where he heard this. He said his teacher.

The teacher of course was referencing the Green New Deal which was in the news at the time.

He was 7.

Even the wife who HATES politics with a passion was pissed.

That day my son learned he was smarter than his teacher and was reminded how awesome cow is on the grill.

It was like that when I was a kid too

Captain Planet and Nick News come to mind as shows I used to watch that had left leaning viewpoints for the time.

At the very least, the message of Captain Planet was “don’t litter” and not “vote for socialism and white people bad”.

It is funny MTV and Nickelodeon did not do their Rock the Vote and Kid polls this year, or I have not heard about them.

I guessed they may have been surprised by how much support Trump may have in their target demographic.

For those of us that don't watch Nickelodeon, can you give us examples of what you saw so we can know how outraged we should be?

My daughter was watching a show called “Pinkalicious” the other day. In this Halloween episode, the entire town’s power was cut off due to a single tree falling during high winds. The mayor - a Hispanic woman - cancels the holiday of Halloween out of safety concerns due to the town being powerless due to a single tree. Pinkalicious goes to the Mayor’s office to ask for some other alternative, and discovers that city hall is literally the only building in town with a generator. The politicians have power. The mayor will not allow the city’s children to use city hall for their little Halloween party, just because. And eventually relents in allowing the kids to gather at the city park, with the episode framing the decision as a benevolent act by the mayor.

So many socialistic themes in a 12 minute kids cartoon.

You should watch some of the Sesame Street CNN townhall. It is straight propaganda.
