which is pretty much how most of them feel
they hate us, they want to tear down our value system and they just plain think we are "creepy"
oh look, time to whine about refugees while we call Christians "creepy"
Chick-fil-A’s Creepy Infiltration of New York City

Chick-fil-A’s Creepy Infiltration of New York City
quote:
New York has taken to Chick-fil-A. One of the Manhattan locations estimates that it sells a sandwich every six seconds, and the company has announced plans to open as many as a dozen more storefronts in the city. And yet the brand’s arrival here feels like an infiltration, in no small part because of its pervasive Christian traditionalism. Its headquarters, in Atlanta, are adorned with Bible verses and a statue of Jesus washing a disciple’s feet.

Atheist here, so it cannot be said that I have a Christian victim complex...
110%, most of the elites do not like Christianity. And it's not just an "anti-religion" thing. They're so loving to Islam that they even cup the balls while they're going down on them.
I disagree on theology, but modern day Christianity is a net benefit to society and there is absolutely a sharp anti-Christian bias among the elite in our nation.
EDIT: I blame identity politics, its driving our nation apart.
Turns minorities against whites.
Turns women against men.
Turns gays against straights.
Turns non-Christians against Christians.
etc.

and that is so damn bizarre to me
Pushing aside Christianity and letting Islam into the vacuum is not going to be an improvement for them.
Christianity has faults but it is far more benign than Islam.

Republican Jesus is a bit creepy:
The actual teachings of Christianity are, of course, not at all creepy. The creepy part comes in with the big money mega churches who espouse greed.
BTW, every major religion, including Islam, has a version of the Golden Rule. Do unto others as you would have others do unto you. It is a very universal truth.

I refer to liberal reporters as likely child predators.

Remember what I told you: 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.
John 15:20
When the word of God is spoken, two things happen. Some get angry and some get saved. Their actions are a sign of our success:

Just read the entire article. At no point did it refer to Christians as creepy. In fact, the only time the word "creepy" is used in the article is in the headline: "Chick-fil-A’s Creepy Infiltration of New York City."
But to avoid what would be otherwise be a thread derailing screed, I'll chant the board's mantra: I hereby solemnly swear that I believe Islam to be more harmful/more of a threat/less benign than Christianity.

We'll just pretend that Judeo-Christian principles haven't been an integral part in the building and thriving of this nation.

Still, there’s something especially distasteful about Chick-fil-A, which has sought to portray itself as better than other fast food: cleaner, gentler, and more ethical, with its poultry slightly healthier than the mystery meat of burgers. Its politics, its décor, and its commercial-evangelical messaging are inflected with this suburban piety
has anyone ever seen a Chick Fil A ad or commercial that blatantly featured Christian messaging? I can't say that I have.

That's fantastic stuff. You couldn't write a better satire of a preening, pretentious east coast liberal if you tried.

You have to love snobbish liberal whiney hypocrisy. Just read the article. Among all of the absolute pounding on the keyboard butthurt I found this hilarious:
And at he bottom of the article so filled with hate and crying for the poor farm animals plight, you have a link to this:
My God I just salivate over both fried chicken and heaps of liberal hypocrisy.
quote:
Most restaurants take pains to distance themselves from the brutalities of the slaughterhouse; Chick-fil-A invites us to go along with the Cows’ Schadenfreude.

The Fried-Chicken King of Harlem
quote:
Well, as much as dead chicken submerged in bubbling, hellfire-hot soybean oil can breathe. But perhaps his fans are responding to more than just the chicken itself, which, with its crispy, light crust, is damn good.
My God I just salivate over both fried chicken and heaps of liberal hypocrisy.
