All the sports are doing this and it sucks.

I'm really down to just college football and golf at this point. All the major pro leagues are overrun with a bunch of nonsense that has nothing to do with the sport. All four of the main pro sports leagues have in one way or another told me I'm not welcome so frick them, I wont support your product.

I have less than zero interest in watching the Super Bowl.

I’ll be carving some nice turns on the slope hoping most people are indie watching that crap.

Nope, I'm not going to watch an NFL that pays referees to steal games. That's the only explanation for that absurd ruling on that possession steal from that completed pass to the Buffalo Bills. That was ugly - IMO a defining moment in the decline of professional football.

They "crooked" NFL refs even refused to review the play - proving the game was stolen from the Bills. I don't support thievery of any sort.

The only question for me? When will NFL "sheep fans" realize that and boycott the NFL?

.....and the NCAA is the NFL's bitch.

There, I said it.

I never watched that bunch of out of touch self-absorbed frickers before this shite became more political. I sure as hell have no reason to watch it now.

Hell, I was at the Superbowl last year and got food and drink in the dome during halftime. Never saw any of it. Nobody cares about it anymore.

I looked through the halftime show history. I had no idea that the Grambling State Marching Band has performed in 6 Super Bowl Halftime shows. I would have thought maybe 2 or 3...but it's 6. That's pretty awesome.

Super Bowl 28 (1994) Halftime performers - Clint Black, Tanya Tucker, Travis Tritt, The Judds.

Super Bowl 59 (2025) Halftime performers - Kendrek Lamar with Samuel L. Jackson, SZA, Serena Williams, Mustard.

Super Bowl 60 (2026) Halftime performers - Bad Bunny with TBD

Just a couple of picks to show how the shows have changed over the last 30 or so years.

Is this the thread where everyone announces they won't be watching the Super Bowl and that no one cares about the NFL anymore? And then next Monday, the ratings will show it's one of the top 3 most watched events ever in the U.S.

You think the ratings will have anything to do with Hispanics from all over the world watching a Hispanic sing in Spanish?

When is it (which is not the original question)? But very unlikely unless I stumble into a party. Even so, would definitely skip half time.

SMH at those on here who watch the NFL. This is symptomatic of why we are gradually losing even though we have the numbers.

Getting the MAGAs to boycott the halftime show because they are snowflakes could be the best thing the NFL ever did. Every time they threaten to boycott sports, the sport gets even more popular. And doing it partly because the performer gave a speech about people loving one another really puts the egg on their faces.
