re: Newsweek - How DeSantis could out-Trump Trump all the way to the White House.

They blocked Trump policies, they blocked his wall, his budget, everything. They were so pissed when he cancelled the Paris Accords with his power of the pen.. So a true outsider can only get so much accomplished.
It is why Trump was trying to get the establishment out as much as he could. I hope Trump doesn't believe McCarthy when McCarthy says he will back him if some miracle happened and he got in.
Newsweek pushing DeSantis shows their cards.

No thanks at the end of the day he is a politician . Give me the guy who’s proven and has skin as thick and steady as leather . The man we need to right the ship. TRUMP.

Me, my son, and AT LEAST 6 other friends I know will WRITE Donald J Trump's name in when we vote if he's not on the ballot-and there are many more like us.

has Ron really made that promise anyway? It gets referenced all the time but I've never seen it.
I think it makes some sense, but I've never seen someone link an article/video where he agrees to defer to Trump
Yes you have Petti...
The Pollster who was there talked all about it.

Actually the people will crawl over broken glass to vote against Biden.

The Great MAGA King has unsettled business. DeSantis 2028.

Do you think he works for free? He was contracted to start the listening tour for DeSantis. The agreement is that he acts like he is paid by someone else.
Dude..you are on crack.

Did Trump lose suburban women overall or just lost some of them? Wasn't this kinda a false narrative?
Posted on 5/27/22 at 11:09 pm to crazyatthecamp
False narrative in my opinion. Why didn’t he “lose suburban women” in the same destructive fashion leading up to and on election day 2016, is my response to the narrative.

Yeah they sure act like they’re not worried at all about Trump. Right.

They know that if Ron and Don don't face each other in the GOP primary, then one of them is going to win it all.
They also know that if DeSantis runs in 2028 and Trump wins in 2024, they will be screwed for 12 years minimum. That’s why DeSantis doesn’t want to run right now.
The media and the left know this but they also know Biden didn’t get 81 million legal votes either. If he did, they should be hoping for Trump to run again, it would be an easy victory.

Trump lost college-educated women by over 27 points including losing college-educated white women by over 19 points in 2020.
In 2016, Trump lost college-educated white women by over 26 points.
Trump lost college-educated men by over 18 points in 2020.
It's hardly a false narrative. Trump shed college-educated voters and instead appealed to non-college-educated voters.

But somehow college educated people voted plenty enough for him to win in 2016? And I guess somewhere along the way in the 4 years following 2016, so many in fact suddenly realized who they voted for previously that their en masse abandonment of him perhaps even tilted the election away from him?

He barely won in 2016.

The data shows that college-educated men swung even further to Biden. They could not stand Hilary Clinton while Biden was much more palatable. I disliked Clinton myself while Biden is just Biden - he inspires no love or hate to me.
Plus, the 2016 electorate was not the same as the 2020 electorate. Far more people turned out so you had college-educated voters turning up who didn't vote in 2016.
It makes sense to me. I didn't expect Trump to win in 2016 but I took him far more seriously in 2020. If you're a voter who thinks Trump has no chance in 2016, you may not vote while in 2020, everyone knew Trump had a serious chance of winning.

I don't really care that DeSantis is classier and less crude than Trump or whatever the common refrains are. I like that DeSantis can articulate why we believe what we believe, and he can do it on the spot in the face of hostile opposition. Perhaps that isn't significant to most conservatives, but it's something I care about
Yep. Trump just repeats the same phrases and slogans and never expounds further. Towards the end his rallies were so repetitive it was tough to listen to.

If you are a white male and didn't hate Biden by October 2020 you suck cock guaranteed

hope that Trump runs lol. The guy is despised by half of America. It will make Biden winning a lot easier because many voters would rather crawl over broken glass than vote for him. That's not a feeling many voters have about DeSantis or Romney or any other previous presidential candidate. Trump is the most polarizing politician I've seen in a long while.
Oh look, here’s a weak pussy that fell for the establishment attacks on Trump and does everything the media asks him to. You people are so weak minded and naive. This country was so much better under Trump it’s absolutely discouraging to hear that some are so retarded and blind they would hope Biden wins re-election. So pathetic.
