Thank you Dove hunter.
We pretend as if this had never started, nothing would have changed. If anything, it should be alarming to see Iran attack sovereign countries and ships (sorry had to throw the sovereign in there for the Ukranian bootlickers). Now imagine if they did have accurate long range ballistic missiles and nukes.
As an aside, can we stop with the "they are fanatical, irrational people who want to die for their religion? Bessent has seized over a billion in crypto hidden offshore from IRGC personal accounts. Does that sound like some radicals, or someone who is stashing getaway cash for exit, when their peons die for them, just like the "leaders" in Palestine hanging out in the lap of luxury in Qatar while their peons die.

WTF is the news on the ground you found interesting enough to make a thread you lazy arse retard??
That's what this board is for. When you start a thread, tell people the key political news you felt it be important. Don't tell people to get off the site and figure out.
And I repeat, it's not just me. It's an actual board rule that has gotten a poster banned recently for.

There is a path for a favorable outcome but it will take time and patience.
Something that the American public have neither of.

Is there a quick clip or heads up on where in the almost hour the run down is?

This video from Tousi TV discusses the current political and economic turmoil within the Islamic Republic of Iran. The presenter, Amaya Tusi, outlines several key crises facing the regime as of early August 2026.
Key takeaways from the report:
Leadership Crisis: There is significant speculation regarding the status of the Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei. Reports suggest he is either deceased or in critical condition, and the regime appears to be preparing the public narrative for an announcement of his death (0:26-0:42, 9:26-9:52).
Economic Collapse: Due to a persistent US naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, Iran is suffering from an inability to generate oil revenue. The state-run economy is described as being in total collapse, with massive debt, frozen bank accounts, and 300% inflation (0:49-0:57, 3:09-6:40).
US Military Pressure: The presenter asserts that the US is conducting a quiet but effective naval blockade that has prevented crude oil tankers from successfully leaving Iran since mid-July (2:49-2:57, 6:58-7:35).
Regional Tensions: The video covers potential escalations involving IRGC proxies in Iraq and Yemen targeting Saudi Arabia, and the rise of individuals like Ayatollah Muhammad Karazzi, who seeks to impose a more extreme, Sharia-based, one-man dictatorship (11:00-14:50).
Geopolitical Shifts: Regional allies, including Saudi Arabia and the UAE, are moving away from dependency on the Strait of Hormuz by expanding alternative pipeline routes, potentially rendering the strait irrelevant as a geopolitical choke point (3:01-3:07, 30:56-33:18).

They are spot on with what is actually happening over there.
How would any of us actually know that?

We just agreed to sell 5K interceptors to some gulf states.......I thought we had none left???
People forget the blockade is not just stopping oil coming out, its also stopping goods coming in.
Course some on here think the half a trillion in shat we wrecked can be fixed by chini in a week and they will do it for free......even though they cant get anything through the blockade
