You are correct in that kicking a car taillight doesn’t necessitate deadly force.
It does, of course, paint a completely different picture of the deceased in that he wasn’t some Good Samaritan wandering around trying to help others.

Pretty was not deliberately killed. ICE rightly feared for their life given that a shot (accidentally) was fired and the “gun “! shouted. Disingenuous argument and that is why it holds no power to persuade those without confirmation bias syndrome.

It's not justifying anything, you fricking simp. It's speaking to the reality of the situation. Do not resist arrest EVER. And especially do not resist arrest while in possession of a firearm. You're absolutely right. He should have been jailed right then and there. He wasn't killed or jailed, but let go. The next time he confronted law enforcment his firearm discharged during a scuffle and he was shot. He would probably still be alive if he was jailed the first time.
