And whats your position of experience? Youre speculating just as much as I because we both currently lack any information on if theres a second gun and who's gun the guy was carrying away. If you don't think this looks bad, even in the slighest, if it's proven he was disarmed and didnt have a second weapon then I seriously question if youre able to gauge it correctly because justified and public perception are not always intertwined especially for things like this.

What im saying is they had found one gun on it, which would heighten your paranoia in general, they may have THOUGHT they saw him reaching for another gun or even THOUGHT they saw another weapon and then fired at him
Tbat obviously doesn't make it a good shoot but you could understand why they'd be jumpy about it

exactly. even IF he WAS a legal gun owner - which hasn't been established - then MN state law requires that while carrying he also has his MN issued carry permit AND a government issued ID such as DL
