Take for example the "Jazz Festival", one of New Orleans most iconic, biggest events.
Did you know that the City of New Orleans has nothing to do with the Jazz Fest!?! Entirely created, owned, run for decades by New Yorkers!
New Orleans could be Great, but it sucks (comparatively) and will die if not intervened. I wish Landry, or a group of Baws, would invade with an all out fricking Coup.
Make New Orleans Great Again!

Democrats have hurt New Orleans and many cities nationwide.
That said, I see a difference in leadership today. Moreno wants to be accountable. Latoya was probably the worst mayor the city ever had and that’s saying a lot. Moreno is trying to clean up the mess.
Take your partisan glasses off though and see the landscape as a whole and ask if Louisiana is better off with a thriving New Orleans or with a languishing New Orleans.
The answer is clear-The state is better off with New Orleans shining and cooperation with the state is important in bringing that about. The reason Little Landry tries to diminish new orleans importance is because little Landry is insecure and worried that Moreno will outshine him. He’s on an ego trip.
You think little Landry is conservative but when given a chance to show it, he fumbled. He’s cozy with the plaintiff attorneys and they’re a big reason for our struggles as a state.

No, it's a rebuttal to the implication from your stance that because the election happened, the position's continued existence was the will of the voters.
Only 21% of registered voters in Orleans parish bothered to even vote for the election. An argument could be made the majority of voters don't really care about it.
