I have no concern that the FBI is leading the investigation. That is what the FBI exists for. Neither NOPD or LSP have the resources to do something like that. But then again, I am not eaten up with politics to the point that I have to always assume that the FBI is responsible for whatever attack is being discussed.
Some idiot misspeaking at a press conference certainly doesn't change that opinion.

It would be like playing a game of whack-a-mole at this point. Another idiot would simply reappear in her place.
Yet that the FBI has promoted such an incompetent DEI doofus to such a position is simply scratching the surface of the foundational corruption of the entire agency. Indeed, the FBI has operated as a supra-legal and extra-constitutional entity since it’s inception.
J. Edgar Hoover long used the full powers of the Police State as a blackmailing racket to 1.) expand Hoover’s own base of power and 2.) empower the agency over every other legal consideration. The entire operation should rightfully be dismantled — and if not dismantled — it’s paramilitary Police State powers should be heavily curtailed.
