Yes, of course, so what does that mean in this context? If Paxton is indeed ahead by 1 in a district Trump won by 20, this is good news for Paxton because. . . What?

All I know is these people talk about the Paxton Talarico matchup a lot for a race that they're sure is already decided

As do you Talafreako nerds that are so sure he's winning. You come hear every day white knighting for him, so sure he's winning. frick you.

did Al Green win TX 09 with 76% in '24

The Democrat Al Green, who ran UNOPPOSED, did win TX-09 in 2024 (I have no idea where the 76% figure came from; Green had no opposition in the race).

TX-09 in 2024 is not the same as the territory which makes up TX-09 today, thanks to court-approved redistricting. Today's TX-09 includes parts of Pearland, Friendswood, League City, Pasadena, Webster, Clear Lake City, LaPorte and ALL of Liberty County. These areas are heavily republican and conservative, and supported Trump by a 20% margin in 2024. For Paxton and Abbott to barely be ahead of their democratic opponents in this race spells trouble for their campaigns.

I haven’t started a thread in years. And I have property in Texas. Paxton isn’t losing. I can’t wait to see how many of you claim to have never said otherwise.

Will be hilarious to read the spin that Bbonds puts on if Paxton loses. Considering his hilarious defense of Iran. “Name the battles”

Paxton loses:
“Yeah, well what is your definition of losing?”

We can't wait to come here and drag nutz all over you TDS Talafreako pussies faces when your great white-guilt hope loses... in Texas... as any beta soy boy vegan "Jesus was non-binary" child transing America hating DSA commie liberal should.

Wow that’s awful news for Paxton if accurate, given the area/district.

It’s a dem internal poll though.

Okay, a democrat poll that will almost always favor and be more heavily skewed toward democrats still has Paxton ahead. Can you acknowledge that?
In and only in the newly redrawn CD 9 which is heavily Republican
because it was designed that way in redistricting
it is a district that paxton should be leading by 8 points at a minimum
Considering the demographics and the voting history

it doesn't matter thats its democrat poll it's a heavy Republican district and paxton only has a one-point lead it THAT one, specific district was redrawn to be RepublicanThere are a lot of other congressional districts that aren't nearly this Republican

This is like Trump having a one point lead in a presidential election in Texas in Oct

thats bad for Republicans

It’s a good thing that Paxton’s internals show him beating the shot out Talerico otherwise I would have to cross reference this internal poll with Fox News internal Democrat leaning poll.

Alex Mealor is a woman. She almost won the Harris County Judge race. Losing to Dora.

Yes, for the OLD district lines. This isn’t hard.

The new district is 62% Hispanic, 25% white, 10% black, 2% Asian, and according to this article from just yesterday, Cook Report has it as “Likely Republican” so we can hopefully expect Alex Mealer to win.

I'm far from a democrat, but will be voting Democrat down the line in Texas. Dumb arse out of touch republicans fricked my best friends buisness up by banning THCa. I hope all their out of touch asses lose. I don't even smoke, but that was the stupidest shite I've ever seen and pissed off countless people.

Paxton will win easily. They haven’t switched over like everyone is saying. Plus it’s impossible to poll them accurately.
