I commiserate with your general sentiment.
But with several international banks now operating in Iran, they could've made an electronic transfer disappear within minutes of our payment.

And according to one of the Americans released, as they were sitting on the plane homeward bound, they were told that their plane could not leave till the other plane, with the cash, landed. Pretty much no doubt that the cash was pure ransom monies.

You're correct, but the distinction is fairly irrelevant. They were wanted men and Obama had the charges against them dropped in a piss-poor deal (but then this wasn't his first time at being an incredibly poor negotiator).
