I guess Obama sucking and soft core pedo shows didn't lead to wild success.

The streaming service lost 200,000 customers in the first quarter, according to a statement Tuesday, the first time it has shed subscribers since 2011. Netflix also projects it will lose another 2 million customers in the current second quarter, setting up its worst year ever as a public company.

Investors, analysts and Hollywood executives had been bracing for the company to report a sluggish start to the year, but Wall Street still expected Netflix to add 2.5 million customers. The shares, already down more than 40% this year, tumbled as much as 24% to $265.11 in after-hours trading.

That plus a price increase and a lack of great content.

Most people are not creepy, pedophiles.....most people are good.

Therefore, when a corporation panders to the wierdos, good people leave. That's all I got!

Honestly most of their original content is daytime tv quality. Ozark and Peaky Blinders are about the only two shows I care for on there.

Could be inflation as well.

Consumers may be looking for a way to pay the rent.

Netflix is going the way of cable. All these options, but nothing good to choose from.

I prefer to watch movies in 4K Bluray HDR quality. streaming services offer watered down version of movies compared to physical copies.

They had little in the way of content that appealed to me, and coupled with their deals with the Obamas and the Sussexes, I felt my money was better spent elsewhere.

They can make deals with whomever they like, but I don't have to help fund it.

Talking out of your arse. Wall St. experts expected them to add subs. You must know more than they do. Anyway, the 'competition' that exists now also existed in the previous several quarters.

I guess everyone gets fed up at their own pace. I got fed up around 4 years ago and canceled. Almost all the content Netflix was producing was woke content. Woke content vastly outnumbered the nonwoke content they were releasing.

The comment was Get Woke Go Broke. Using YOUR logic they've been woke for awhile too so why the sudden drop off?
They lost subs and predict to lose more.

Do you think the people who leave just stop watching content? No, find other sources. Do some research arse clown

With inflation the first thing people cut out when you need to tighten the belt is stuff like Netflix, cable packages, etc.

They’re nice to have but not as important as food on the table and keeping the lights on

Now at 55% lost.

The company has lost it's way.

Not going to lie, the more things like this happen, the more the conservatives feel like they do have a voice!
