The problem is two fold here. Netflix is kinda getting wack with all the woke shite. The next problem is the bigger one no one seems to want to admit ,but with inflation people will start dropping unnecessary expenses, we are in the beginning of a recession. When inflation hits a 40 year high and people are having to make choices the first thing to go is money spent on entertainment.

Wasn't there a thread on here a few days ago discussing the good programming Netflix has put up?

Better Call Saul is worth whatever bs Netflix does.

HBO Max is free? You sure?

I want to watch some stuff on there, but thought you needed an HBO subscription to access Max.

Several years ago when Netflix started producing original shows and movies, they were always good. Now the shite they produce is 95% bad, with a gem every now and then.

It's just not what it once was.

All streaming services are like this. A few good shows/movies with hundreds of things I probably will never watch.

Which service is best is subjective.

So watch it when it airs on AMC, or get AMC+.

Do the eps immediately go to netflix? that's not the case with any other non-netflix original I know of.

Ozark and Peaky Blinders
Agree - those were great. I also liked "You."

I watched Friday Night Lights for the first time on there (yes, I know it was not originally there) and about to finish up Bloodlines.

I know it is hypocritical, but I refuse to pay for their service. I use my son's account, and he uses my ESPN+ account (required for UFC).

But more people are waking up from wokeness. They're seeing the trends, hearing the wokies who deserved to be mercilessly tortured for decades in my basement who say they will indoctrinate our kids with or without our knowledge or consent.

I don't disagree. But to say this the driving force behind the potential loss of 2 million subs is either dishonest or ignorance.

I think what Dan is saying is that it’s free in the Biblical sense.

Yup, dumped them and Disney plus last week. Everything on these services are messaging on steroids.

Switching streaming services is what most people should do. I think that is pretty normal.

Yet Netflix hasn't seen a loss like this.

Shutting down all film production for a year due to Rona left a gaping content hole we are seeing now. Netflix has never been this devoid of quality content. I'm thinking about ditching it myself, not for political reasons, but because it basically sucks now. I have been a netflix customer since they were mailing DVD's.

No doubt. They seriously push again though. But they also produce high quality content, some of them with no political bent whatsoever

Maybe they shouldn’t have increased their prices when people are at a point of having to cut down on nonessential spending.
