When I was a kid I would sometimes run in the house and not shut the door, my grandmother used to say "did you grow up in a barn, shut the door".
When I was about six I said to her "but we dont even have a door on the barn".........I learned not to be a smartarse that day, in fact that arse whooping was so impressionable that I still remember it to this day
