I don’t see what’s wrong with what she said. If you listen to the context and tone, she is correct. This is Xi trying to stick it in our face. It’s doesn’t make the genocide any less true.

And sometimes - like in the case of the geriatric idiot they put into the White House, or even in this example with Savannah Guthrie they have no idea. Sometimes I think the Chinese are picking on the Uyghurs so they have something to “give up” to dementia Joe in negotiations to give him a fake win in exchange for him giving them them whatever the hell they want.

That is completely 100% accurate and not inappropriate to say. She wasn't praising Xi when she said it. The broadcast went out of its way to hit on the political issues like Xinjiang, Taiwan, Putin, etc. This is fake/misleading outrage.
