I quit when the then Grizzlies coach Fizzdale said all Trump supporters were either stupid or racist. He was my sister’s neighbor, I met him at their Christmas party, the mainly republican neighborhood treated him like royalty. I came to the same realization, why give money to people who hate me?

Have not read the thread so this is probably abrupt, but I’ll say basketball is a lost cause for whites. My daughter has small college offers in hoops and two other sports. She’ll definitely be going to play one of the others although hoops is probably her best sport and was originally her first love. Four years under two militant black female coaches has dispirited her to the point she’s ready to just get it over. I could talk about it forever but I’ll just say THEY do NOT want a white on the court period.

They are extremely effective at spreading propaganda and the bias has become quite clear. The only sports I watch now is college football and baseball. Unfortunately, due to NIL money, their messaging will soon be affected as well.

The entire NBA is utter garbage, and that piece of along with Kerr are the two garbage kings.

He reminds me of my FIL which makes me hate him even more. Why discuss anything unrelated to basketball? It’s why the NBA is less popular than hockey. Maybe pickleball should take its place on TV.

Can’t get too specific for obvious reasons. But to broad brush it: NEVER and I mean NEVER praised for anything including record setting performances. All the while, there’s excessive praising of black girls on the team to the point that it completely defies reality and can be construed in no other way than an effort to demoralize my daughter. She is ridiculously downgraded on annual accolades - again, to the point of absurdity.
