Actually been a member a lot longer than two years and my posting a link or not posting a link to a story which is readily available on the internet doesn’t discount the fact that holland sent moon rocks off and discovered petrified wood., right . NBC story look it up . I didn’t write it

Watch the moon landings and while they were supposedly on the moon videos and if you don't think they are fake, baaaaahhhh.

My grandfather worked at the cape for years, and my aunt worked on the shuttle program for 20+. Yes, we did walk on the moon.
If you would just stop and think how many THOUSANDS of people would have to toe the company line to keep this a hoax, you'd realize how crazy of an idea it is.

I mean it makes it even more dumb to think this proves anything. So NASA intentionlly sends petrified wood instead of moon rock to fool the scientist

Why would thousands of people have to know if the mission happened as told?
I do believe we went to the moon. But it is quite apparent that failure wasn't and option and had a failure occurred they had video ready to show they made it their but didn't make it back.
Not everyone that worked on the mission would have to know video wasn't legit! Hell even some of the people making the video wouldn't have to know. Lots of training simulation video was taken. Use some of that and even the freaking camera man would be in the dark.

You think nasa thought … omg what if they open this pristine gift that we are giving them and check the actual rock for origin ? NASA probably thought like every other government agency that what they say is untouchable and no one would check … so they didn’t check their own rocks which were probably meteorites uncovered in Antarctica or the Arizona desert and poof petrified wood given to the Holland Prime minister with a nice little plaque . oops

This argument is regularly used to disprove conspiracy theories, but it just isn't true. 600k people worked on the Manhattan Project, but only a handful knew the actual goal. Hundreds of thousands of people have been in top secret facilities, yet only a few have ever spoken about what goes on there.
People in the control center were just reading instruments. I've seen CNN reporters stand in waist high water telling me it was flooding when they were actually in a ditch. Just because a screen tells you something, it doesn't mean it is true. It wouldn't be that difficult or require that many people to fake the landing for people in the control room. That happens every day with simulators.
There are plenty of discrepancies in the information provided by nasa that should make any rational person question. There are pictures of the same background on the moon taken from different missions, yet we were told that these missions were in completely different areas. There are images nasa released to the public and then went back and edited to remove specific features. There are several videos of astronauts on the space station, yet you can see bubbles moving across the screen. The moon landing was one of the most important historic achievements of all time, but nasa somehow recorded over the original tapes.
Maybe we did beat all the odds and landed on the moon in the precise time frame that Kennedy laid out, but only a fool would accept everything they are being told by the government or consider others crazy for not doing so.

Just think about it like this - NASA's greatest achievement ever, and now by their own admission, they re-recorded over all the video and lost the technology on how to make the trip...

Ugh... so in 1969 the ambassador to Holland allegedly gave the PM the sample. It sat around who knows where in his possessions. PM died in 89, and the Rijk got the sample 3 years later. It sat there for decades until they tested it in 09. The chain of custody was iffy af, as was the premise he received a 3 ounce rock... when most foreign samples were in the 1 gram range, not 90 grams.

It generally takes more effort to cheat on an exam then to actually study for one. It would take a herculean effort involving a multitude of people to fake Moon landings. Do you actually believe so many people would remain silent? Don't you think the Russians could prove if the landings were real or fake. If they were fake they would have produced the evidence a long time ago. I am amazed that they were able to find people brave enough and stupid enough to go.

I'm not trying to be cute when I say this. You have a good point. While I still believe we went there, it's possible it happened the way you said. Thinking about it more, maybe it would take only a few people at the top to pull it off. I know I really liked the movie CAPRICORN ONE when it came out years ago. And that sure made it seem plausible.

This is just a dumb question. We have orbital imaging of the landing sites that clearly show the tracks and movements of the astronauts. Also the laser range reflectors that astronauts left on the surface is irrefutable proof we were there.

No. We didn't go. Man couldn't go today if we tried with infinitely better technology than the 60s. It was a all a political move and many bought into it. Nasa could have 1 million people working on it in the 60s and none would have ever known it was faked because each one saw a rocket take off, along with seeing and hearing, radio and TV transmissions.
