"It’s not a Godfather II-Michael Corleone “nothing, Senator” counteroffer … but it’s not a whole lot more than that, either. Perhaps sensing that a court fight over Robert Mueller’s report might not get resolved soon enough for his purposes, House Judiciary chair Jerrold Nadler tried suggesting a small amount of compromise from his original subpoena. At the same time, he told Attorney General William Barr that he’d better agree by Monday or face a contempt citation, and possibly worse."
"On grand-jury testimony, Nadler’s clearly dreaming. Not only does he want it unredacted for Congress, he wants Barr to go to court with Nadler to ask a judge to allow it."

I agree. Ive always lamented at how soft libs and dems can be in fights. Thats why Kamala is refreshing. Everyone else has a whole bunch of backdown in them

Except, he can't hold him in contempt. He volunteered to testify. Only if he has been subpoena'd and then refuses can he be held in contempt.

Fat Jerry needs to be called out for all this, not b/c he cares about whats best for the people, but that he has a long history with Trump. It's a grudge he is abusing his power on.

Nadler's the worst and least intellectual member of Congress if he thinks this is possible. "Your Honor, we know it's illegal, but we're in agreement anyway." Nadler doesnt have bare minimal requirements to be a Congressman.
