My point was we aren't talking about the same thing, man. This is no safe way to actually use nuclear weapons. It's like comparing a Chihuahua to a Kodiak Brown Bear- and then some.
Only a brainwashed idiot believes the same thing about a rifle. I won't give them the time of day, with that crap.
But Iran is an outlaw state clearly hostile towards our best interests. Our survival and well being trumps their "right" to own nukes. Because there's just no sure way to isolate yourself from that threat.

If they're smart enough to develop a nuclear weapon they're smart enough to know that nuking the United States is the end of their country and likely the end of civilization

That is not the point I was making.
It has to do with their ability to cause extreme mishaps in this country. We don't know who is attending the Friday prayer service in the US, just waiting for the call from Tehran.

Because Iran has declared itself an outright enemy of Israel multiple times. Pakistan and North Korea also aren't Israeli friends, but neither designed their entire state to revolve around being anti-Israel.

But I said actually use- not possessing merely as a deterrent. They've only been used twice in war. And I along with many others probably owe our very existence to them shutting down Japan's will to go on, due to our fathers surviving the war. Strange to even consider things like that, but....
I guess it depends on one's level of trust towards the Iranian leadership- of which mine is non-existent.

None of them, nor Israel, are in the non-proliferation treaty. So they truly kept their sovereignty and do not have to let inspectors in.
