I don’t see it as politics,I see it as the impending destruction of our country and our way of life.
I’ve never read any of the QAnon stuff,I certainly don’t believe JFK,Jr is still alive.
But I have kinda gotten obsessed with it myself,spend too much time reading and thinking about all that is going on.I can kinda see where people can lose their grip on reality.
It’s so frustrating having to interact with the average ignorant voter.I recently got into a dust-up with one of my clueless,never Trump cousins.She really believes that all the illegal immigrants coming over the border are just Mexicans that only want a better life.She ‘s fine with all that is going on at the border.

Same here. Some family members believe this craziness. They are being grifted hard. One family member just bought a dudes book. They say things like “its ok..he has got them! Biden is a clone and Trump has all the generals to take it back etc”. Ive asked “why is he campaigning for 24? Why hasnt he done anything in 3 yrs? What if this stuff never happens? Answers I get are they are waiting for the right time and “oh well its possible this never happens but we’ll see”. They are further solidified because they have military family members telling them its true. Its one big grifting operation. I try to explain monetization to them and why their daily 1+ hr rumble vid with ads is 1+ hr with ads. Ive just told them believe all you want but dont make any heavy financial changes with the info. There is truth in the Q stuff in that a lot of elites are vile and many of them are pedophiles. The lie is that Trump has been fighting a war against them in secret and that he has commissioned an operative to get the word out on 4chan or that JFK Jr or JFK are actually alive and about to be named VP, or that Hilary and Obama are under house arrest. The problem is big media narratives tend to be false. The world is more complicated and crazy than a media source is equipped to handle. And that was before the internet. Now every hospital that gets bombed in Gaza is either a deliberate act of genocide, or the only way that Israel can get at Hamas and how we feel about it is 100% the product of the media we consume which has been filtered through people with an agenda and that agenda might be political (make you more leftists, make you more nationalist, make you more concerned about Islam, make you more guilty for being American), but most often it’s just to sell you something or at least get your clicks.

Ultimately we need to be part of the communities we live in and concentrate son larger truths, whether that be religion or patriotism, or history, and see ourselves as part of that larger product that can be given setbacks but will ultimately endure. But that’s a lot of work and so people on both sides will continue to get suckered by pieces of shite online who don’t love them but do want their money

I certainly hope you're not trying to convince me that Chinese contributions in the Clinton era were actually not laundered directly into Democratic National Committee coffers? Or that Clinton wasn't himself an extremely corrupt adulterous pervert?

I remember that stuff quite clearly, and I even identified as a Democrat back then.

If nothing else, the passage of time has brought a clarity that has formed my current archetype based on decades of evidentiary precedent and fact. I have always felt like there's naught out there in the political landscape other than people directly lying to build and maintain support. No one has our backs. No one gives a damn about anything but power and influence. It's only about selecting the lesser of evils, and that's what's truly "sad". We have allowed this.

The only difference between then and now, is that I see the entirety of the mainstream aligned with one side. In hindsight it has been this way my entire life, but these entities at least used to pretend to be unbiased and balanced, and now they just outright admit their Orwellian nature. They expect me to believe that I can peacefully coexist with factions that literally want me dead because of my skin color, race, political alignment and religion. It is impossible for this "harmony" to exist as long as man exists, for we are all influenced by the human condition. We are savage, brutal and tribalistic in nature. History has proven time and time again that we will unite to fight a perceived enemy, destroy that enemy, and then turn on our own kind because we still need an enemy to hate and fight.

Look how many liberties and how much inherent privacy we tossed away willingly and permanently after 9/11, when fear overruled logic and the despicable Patriot Act passed. Just to "get even" with a group of goat rapers who dared to poke the giant, we screwed ourselves for generations to come and spent countless billions of dollars fighting to civilize an entire region that has always been bereft of civility and always will be.

We cannot ever transcend. Not in the physical world.
