Border-crossing attempts from Mexico rose sharply last month after falling to a historic low last year under the Trump administration, according to numbers released the same week the White House announced plans to deploy the National Guard to the southern border. The latest numbers from U.S. Customs and Border Protection show a 37-percent increase in attempted crossings from February to March, and a 203 percent increase over March of last year, CNN first reported Thursday.

It's a problem that largely no longer exists.

that is the problem with you progs...when an ongoing issue hits a low mark you think the problem is "solved" and there is no reason to truly find a fix for it...
Then when another prog filth gets in office like Obama the border is wide open again the problem as festered back up again...

On the contrary, that is exactly the opposite of how progressives think
Problem is already improving over long period of time and then massive government solution to crisis is proposed

You mean the problem that has improved during the entire time he was president?

Not necessarily
But the trend tells us that whatever we've been doing has been improving the situation

Because it is unnecessary and stupid?

Yes
Plenty
But I don't thrumb through the entirety of every thread and address every question particularly when so many of them are stupid and/or redundant.

It makes you wonder who organized the U.S. Based organizer?
quote:
The U.S.-based organizer of the caravan said this week that its march would end in Mexico City, not at the U.S. border as had been planned, according to a Reuters report. Some migrants who had been part of that caravan said they would continue toward the U.S., even after their group disbands.
