My mother-in-law has taken the same route. She befriended a few neighborhood women after my father-in-law died who turned out to be hardcore leftists and also started watching The View and next thing you know she's fully brainwashed despite her declining mental state due to dementia. She'll now be a demoRat for the rest of her life and beyond.

I’m glad you’ve had both parents so long. My Dad who passed 3 years ago was the most logical person I’ve ever known. An Engineer through and through. But at the end he believed we were being invaded by UFOs. Just watched too much BS on tv.

My pops was raging against Trump since he came down the escalator basically. RFK amongst other things broke the damn and swung things the other way. But yeah, you are doing good. You only get one set of parents and it sucks dik to lose one.
