My opinion of abortion pisses off folks on both sides. Am I the only one who believes this

1. I believe that abortion is murder and that fact is not debatable.
2. I believe that an abortion ban is detrimental to society as it will lead to many more dirtbag adults who will be living on government welfare.
Why is it that believing both of these things simultaneously is so maddening to my peers on both sides of the aisle?

You’re 2nd position doesn’t have to be the case. If progressivism/Marxism is crushed in America then people will need to work if they’re able bodied.

This country had abortion bans until 1973.

Yeah that’s not what I believe.
I think this court is looking at it the right way. Who knows if it’s murder or whatever, but if there is a right to it, it’s not one that the framers of our government would have recognized, so if the people want abortion to be available, let them decide by politics.
All this “attack on women” nonsense is totally fricked.

Your 2nd point was taken from Freakinomics where the author shows how crime suddenly and mysteriously began to subside 18 years after Roe v Wade was codified.

I agree wholeheartedly. Many of those people are disgusting and shouldn't have children. Abortion is wrong though, but there are too many of them for decent folk to take care of.
